Qu'est-ce (qui) est F-ATPase - définition

F-ATPase
MEMBRANE PROTEIN
F-type ATPase; N-ATPase
F-ATPase, also known as F-Type ATPase, is an ATPase/synthase found in bacterial plasma membranes, in mitochondrial inner membranes (in oxidative phosphorylation, where it is known as Complex V), and in chloroplast thylakoid membranes. It uses a proton gradient to drive ATP synthesis by allowing the passive flux of protons across the membrane down their electrochemical gradient and using the energy released by the transport reaction to release newly formed ATP from the active site of F-ATPase.
Sodium–potassium pump
  • Flow of ions.
  • The Na⁺/K⁺-ATPase, as well as effects of diffusion of the involved ions maintain the [[resting potential]] across the membranes.
  • Alpha and beta units.

The sodium–potassium pump (sodium–potassium adenosine triphosphatase, also known as Na⁺/K⁺-ATPase, Na⁺/K⁺ pump, or sodium–potassium ATPase) is an enzyme (an electrogenic transmembrane ATPase) found in the membrane of all animal cells. It performs several functions in cell physiology.
